Teen Program
The GIAC Teen Program has 3 program areas:
Activities can range from visiting the Johnson Art Museum to helping shoot a music video; from building bird houses and community gardens to Xbox360 video game tournaments. Dinner and snacks are also served daily.
Program consists of tutors after-school, daily activities, snacks and dinner, and free time. Daily activities include our very successful Urban Art Club, Poppin Collars teen run business and cooking, computer, video, and hip hop dance classes to name a few.
Friday Late Night will also have many different "out of the building" activities and some on the weekend. Some of these activities have been: New York City trips, teen dances, concerts, Ringwood Raceway, movies, plays, laser tag, roller skating, and many more. We look for input from our teens on activities and events they would like to do. We are always looking to work with other local teen groups in doing joint programming.
