Overview & Duties

The Examining Board of Electricians is empowered, upon written examination, to license persons engaged in carrying on or conducting the business of employing or master electrician or those engaging or contracting in electrical work for hire in the City of Ithaca.  The Board shall perform its functions pursuant to the Electrical Code of the City of Ithaca as adopted by the Common Council.
