Regular meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m., in the Third Floor Conference Room of City Hall, 108 E. Green Street, Ithaca, NY 14850.

Overview & Duties
 The Conservation Advisory Council provides input, assistance, comments and recommendations regarding environmental assessments and environmental impact statements for projects being undertaken in the City.  They advise Common Council on matters affecting the preservation, development and use of the natural and physical features and conditions of the city insofar as beauty, quality, ecologic integrity and other environmental factors are concerned and, in the case of human activities and developments, with regard to any major threats posed to environmental quality, so as to enhance the long-range value of the environment to the people of the city.
