The City of Ithaca will hold a public meeting at the beginning of the Monday, December 11, 2023, Sustainability and Climate Justice Commission Meeting at 5 pm. This meeting is required by the DEC for the city to obtain a permit to discharge treated wastewater effluent into Fall and Cascadilla Creek for the sole purpose of melting ice jams.
