PROJECT NAME: Water & Sewer Replacement
PROJECT LOCATION: 200 Block of North Cayuga St
WORK DESCRIPTION: Replace existing water and sewer mains and services. Street reconstruction to follow.
PROJECT START DATE: Monday March 4th, 7:00 AM
SCHEDULED COMPLETION DATE: Water and Sewer utility replacement is expected to take 4-5 weeks. Street reconstruction to follow.
LOCAL IMPACTS: The 200 Block of North Cayuga St will remain closed for the duration of the reconstruction.
Water and sewer utility replacement will begin on the north end of the block and will affect the eastbound lane of Buffalo St for 3-4 days. Flaggers will direct traffic around the work site.
UPDATE: Bypass pumping associated with the sewer replacement will close the parking lane and left travel lane of Seneca St for a short distance. The closure starts at the intersection of Seneca and Cayuga Streets and extends west for about 150 feet. Access to driveways and parking lots will be maintained. Bypass pumping equipment will remain until sewer replacement is complete (2-3 weeks).
