PROJECT NAME: Raw Water Line Stabilization Project
PROJECT LOCATION: Raw water line along Six Mile Creek
WORK DESCRIPTION: A contractor for the City will be stabilizing the raw water pipe that runs near Six Mile Creek at two locations. In the first location, rock anchors and a pipe support will be installed. At the second location, an existing concrete sluiceway and concrete pipe supports will be replaced.
PROJECT START DATE: Mobilization to begin on Tuesday, July 30th
SCHEDULED COMPLETION DATE: Final completion scheduled for October 2019
LOCAL IMPACTS: Construction vehicles and equipment will be using the access road/trail off of Giles St to reach the construction sites. Pedestrian access will be restricted around the construction areas but maintained as much as possible along the access road/trail.
