Construction Update: Cook Street Sewer Replacement
PROJECT LOCATION: Cook Street
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Replace aging and damaged sanitary sewer to improve service and reliability on this block.
PROJECT START: Monday, October 16th at 7:00am
SCHEDULED COMPLETION: Friday, December 15th, at 3:30pm
LOCAL IMPACTS: Cook Street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. Local and emergency access will be maintained via Blair Street and/or College Avenue. On-street parking will be restricted along Cook Street as the work progresses. Observe posted “No-Parking” signs.
From Monday, October 16th through Wednesday, October 19th, Eddy Street will be closed to through traffic from the intersection with Seneca Street to the intersection with State Street. During this time, crews will mobilize equipment and install the first manhole leading to Cook Street. Drivers intending to head north on Eddy Street from State Street should use either Stewart Avenue or Mitchell Street. Drivers intending to head south on Eddy Street should use Buffalo Street or Seneca Street to N Quarry or Stewart Avenue.
On-street parking will be restricted in some areas. Observe posted “No-Parking” signs.
