City Awarded $100,000 for Green New Deal Action Plan
The City of Ithaca was awarded a grant for $100,000 from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation's Climate Smart Communities program for the development of a Green New Deal action plan, which will detail how to achieve an equitable transition to carbon-neutrality and meet the other goals of the Ithaca Green New Deal. This project will include GHG inventories and action plans for city operations and for the Ithaca community.
