March 6, 2020 – Mayor Myrick Discusses Green New Deal at Cornell University
On Monday, March 2nd, Mayor Svante Myrick gave a talk on the Cornell campus as part of the university’s “Perspectives on the Climate Change Challenge” Seminar Series. At the event, he discussed climate change, socioeconomic inequality, and the Ithaca Green New Deal. In addressing solutions for these issues, he stressed the need for active and collective participation by Ithaca residents and Cornell.
