How are credits calculated?
The credit for a given stormwater management practice or structure is equal to the product of:
• your stormwater user fee;
• the percentage of the impervious surface area on your property that is mitigated by the practice or structure;
• 20% if the practice or structure treats both treatment quality and quantity attenuation, or 10% if it only treats either treatment quality or quantity attenuation; and
• the practice or structure’s effectiveness as calculated as a percentage of an ideal stormwater management practice or structure.
The resulting amount will be deducted from your annualized stormwater user fee on a continuing basis as long as you maintain the effectiveness of the practice or structure.
